Looking back on this past year
The plan was to not play any shows this year and I think we did pretty good: only 16 shows! We’ll announce the winners (and prizes) in the coming few weeks. Less than two weeks before we start recording the next album, but now, it’s time to look back on the past 12 months.
Best of 2009
Sotajumala
- Easily the best shows: Lutakko Liekeissä August 22nd and Cobra tour at Lutakko October 10th
- Tour of the year: Laulu on iloni ja työni 2009 with Misery Index
- The most Finnish trip: May 22nd & 23rd in Estonia
- Surprisingly awesome shows: Joensuu Kellari on September 26th & Tampere Vastavirta on August 27th
- Cultural/hometown achievement: Playing Liisan Pub at Lievestuore with Misery Index on August 23rd
- Group photo: Sotajumala & Napalm Death in Oulu on February 20th or Sotajumala & Misery Index in Helsinki August 28th
- The most loyal worker: Kosti and his numerous achievements regarding travelling from work to shows/shows to work no matter what time or how much sleep he didn’t get
