Thanks everyone! That’s all we can say. We had a blast hanging out and playing with our buddies in Misery Index, the tour was a success and we all had so much fun in every city. Surely a week to remember! Lutakko Liekeissä festival broke all previous records with 1200 people enjoying this amazingly nice fest. For us it was also one of the best shows ever, largely thanks to our amazing hometown audience. Much love to the organizers too for taking such good care of all the bands!

The special show at Liisan Pub in Lievestuore was exactly what we wished it would be. A relaxed afternoon show with shitty jokes and a good atmosphere. We played two old and four new songs and enjoyed our time. So did Misery Index and everyone in the audience. How can you go wrong with a disco ball, bar stools and a picture of Irwin if you’re doing a death metal show? You can’t! Highlights of the afternoon: pit for Misery Index, Timo blasting Pulling Out the Nails because Adam had to get some more beer, Kosti and Mark attempting to play Enter Sandman and ending the show by a whole group of people jamming Smoke on the Water.

The next couple of days were dedicated for relaxing. We went to a cabin by a lake and enjoyed sauna, beer, sausages and shitty jokes. Everyone had a blast! On the last day off we took the guys back to Lievestuore for birdwatching and also enjoyed some crêpes and few rounds of Mölkky (Adam proved to be a natural talent). Good times, good times…

The show in Tampere was organized by our friend Olli from Worth the Pain and it was a good night all in all. More people than we expected and you could feel the presence of evil when we got the word that we made 665 euros from ticket sales that night. In no time Tomi and Kosti made things perfect by adding 50 cents each to make things perfect.

Helsinki proved to be yet another positive surprise. Despite of lousy sound, some 371 people enjoyed the night and we all had a blast. Famine Year started the evening, followed by our set (and a decent attempt at playing an extra song) and then Misery Index killed! Again! It was too late for our crew to get into any bars once we left the venue, so we settled with beer in the van and blasting Pantera through the speakers. Saw two naked guys on the way back to the hotel. Totally naked and we’re talking about downtown Helsinki at around 5 AM. Welcome to Finland!

Turku was a two day fest where Misery Index headlined the second day. We didn’t play, but Misery Index killed (who would’ve thought). This also marked the last day of quite extensive touring for the guys and you could tell everyone was having a great time. The drive back to Helsinki was all smiles and laughter as we had Lisa Lampanelli travelling with us. What a perfect ending for a tour to drive in a nice, sunny weather, enjoying beverages and snacks and laughing your ass off!

Anyone up for Laulu on iloni ja työni 2010?
